Some new features in 14.3
Starting with version 14.3 all ArtCom program packages that include the Workflow Manager offer a new element offering you the whole functionality of the ArtRipX program. This new feature allows you to inlude this programs whole range of functions into an automatic environment. As a result, you do not only reduce user errors during manual processing, you also save lots of time and can concentrate on other tasks at hand.
With this release you are able to globally define distortion parameters for the work with the Impose 2000. The advantage of this new feature is obvious because now you have for various work steps parameter sets at hand that you use quite often but had to define separately for each new order until now. From now on you define the data of the user-defined distortion parameters in a separate file that you can access for example during the creation of new orders. This new function makes working with the Impose 2000 even user-friendlier and more comfortable because the necessary data are just a single mouse click away.
The machine control offers you from now on the option to define a color zone analysis for distinctive press units. The advantage of such a procedure is quite simple: This way, you can define the parameters specifically to the specifications of a press unit and offer it for all orders assigned to this press unit. In the long run you will not only save time but also work more comfortable because you have removed a possible source of error.
The family of engraving machines you can access with the Impose 2000 has a new member. From now on you can choose the export target format Hell K406 for the engraving data. The additional processing and input of the necessary data is carried out in the known and user-friendly way.
The definition of and work with anilox engraving in the machine control from now on allows you to save all settings and parameters. This allows you to resort to these parameter sets later on, i. e. you can easily reload special settings for specific situations even if you have worked with different settings in the meantime.
